How to Install iHomefinder on Your HighLevel Website
In This Article
iHomefinder is one of the best options to add IDX functionality to your HighLevel website. With just a few steps, you can turn your site into a complete real estate platform, no developer needed!
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through the installation process step by step. Along the way, I’ll include screenshots and visuals to make things easier to follow.
Requirements
Before you start, make sure you already have the following:
- A HighLevel website – You can build it from scratch or start with a pre-built template.
- A domain – iHomefinder requires your website to be live on a domain. You can purchase one directly through HighLevel or from another provider.
- An iHomefinder account – Available at idxapps.com.
Step 1: Get the Global Script
- Log in to your iHomefinder account.
- Go to Setup → Website → Version and Platform
- Set your Layout Version to v10.0. Choose your button color and dark mode preferences.
- For Website Platform, select Other. (A new field may appear asking what type of custom website it is, leave this blank.)
- Enter the URL of your website in the Website URL field.
💡 This script is what makes iHomefinder’s pages and widgets work on your HighLevel site
Step 2: Install the Global Script in HighLevel
- Inside your HighLevel account enter the website section and select your website.
- Go to Settings and identify the Custom Tracking Code.
- Paste the global script you copied from iHomefinder.
- Click Save.
👉 This script will load all the elements necessary to display iHomefinder pages and widgets on your site.
Step 3: Create a New Page for IDX Content
1. In HighLevel, create a new blank page and name it IDX Router.
2. Set the page path to /idx.
💡 Hint: Path
The path is what comes after your domain in a web address.
Example: www.site.com/idx → the path is /idx.
6. Click Save and Publish.
When you visit this page, you should see a confirmation message that the setup was successful.
💡 This page acts as a “router” that can dynamically display different types of IDX content (like a property search or listing details). However, for SEO purposes, it’s better to create individual pages for each type of content—which we’ll set up next.
Step 4: Complete All the SEO Pages
2. You’ll see a list of all the pages that need to be created. For each one:
3. Return to the iHomefinder control panel and check the box “I have completed this page.”

When you visit these new pages, you should see the correct IDX content load immediately.
That’s It!
You’ve successfully installed iHomefinder on your HighLevel website and configured your SEO pages for better visibility on Google.
